LeeAnne Cavin

Board Chair and Executive Director

Lee Anne studied Psychology at the University of South Carolina and has several years of experience as a project manager. She also has experience on staff at Grace Church both as a Children’s Ministry Director and as Director of Care & Recovery. Seeing Front Porch Housing grow out of the need of one member at Grace Church into a full-fledged supportive community has been one of her greatest joys.

People were patient with me when I was fearful of trusting others and continued to support me even when I didn’t fully understand why. I get the chance to turn and support now. What a privilege to care for others with the same care given to me.

Brian Burgess

Housing Director

Brian attended Clemson University, earning a bachelor of science degree in Parks Recreation and Tourism Management. He has nearly 20 years of experience in retail management and 5 years of being a stay-at-home dad.

Front Porch is an amazing community. To see everyone supporting each other and kids playing together is so much fun.

The thing I enjoy most at Front Porch Housing is the ability to serve people on a daily basis and give them a safe, secure place to call home. Giving someone a place to call home is one of the most rewarding things to be able to provide.

I have really enjoyed leaning into the many discipleship opportunities that take place daily at Front Porch. Like many of the people we serve, I too was once in a place of despair and feeling hopeless until the Lord came to my rescue through the resources of his church.

I have experienced love, abundance, and joy as I have listened to and been obedient to God. I want to spend the rest of my life doing that.
